Playground!

These are from the playground yesterday!!! I was so happy to come home and see my kiddos. We all took a Sunday nap and then went to the playground and splash pad. Rosie is my little daredevil and expert climber – She has zero fear and just goes for it and I am always so impressed by what she can do on her own. I always have to keep a close eye on Atticus because he loves to just explore on his own and meet new friends. He is my independent little boy. I really love to watch them play and see their facial expressions as they try to figure out new things. Rosie’s little face of determination is just the cutest.

I know I already said this on my insta yesterday but since this is kinda my journal too I am saying it again One of my favorite things ever that Atticus has always done is being so protective and proud of his doggy!!! We brought Chauncey to the park since it was (slightly) cooler out and lots of kids wanted to pet him. Anytime Atticus sees someone petting his dog he runs over and proudly stands next to him and lets people know that Chauncey is his dog! Not in a “don’t touch him he is mine” kinda way but just like, “isn’t he amazing?!?! he’s mine!” type of way. He loves getting to show off his pup. He gives Chauncey kisses and hugs all the time. He is so affectionate and I really love that about him. Usually when I put him to bed I tickle his back and arms til he is asleep and last night he was tickling my arms and saying “night night mama”. He loves to tuck me in and put me to bed too and its so sweet to watch him do all the things we do, like kiss him, say we love him, pull up his blanky, etc.

We are headed to San Diego today for a quick trip to visit David’s parents and some cousins. We have an insanely busy month ahead of us – we are doing a pop up in LA and then we are headed to Europe along with lots of other stuff. Hope you have a good day everyone!!
