Taking Risks: Life is Long

I talked about taking risks today on my IG stories and I wanted to put some of it on here as well. Taking risks is a large part of having an abundance mindset - it is seeing that there is plenty of time in life to make mistakes and chase dreams. When I think of all of the big moments in our life that have led to success they all started with a risk and going out on a limb - starting a blog. David dropping out of law school and us moving to NYC. Us investing our savings into starting BFB Hair and launching it out of our NYC apartment. Launching dae right before a global pandemic. So many risks but big risks lead to big rewards.  I think it is important to take risks in life but those risks don’t have to happen in your 20’s and 30’s… sure it is great to take as many as you can before having kids, a mortgage, etc. but it is truly never too late to take risks. There are so many incredible founders who started their companies in their 40’s - Chip Wilson started Lululemon at the age of 42.. Jeffrey Brotman started Costco at the age of 40.. Vera Wang designed her first dress at age 40! Here is a list of so many others. It is never too late to chase your dreams. People always say life is too short and while I agree with the sentiment.. making the most of life
